Well since my esteemed colleague here went second, I guess I'm the one who has to make the first ACTUAL post. Now comes the part when I say something witty and interesting about news affairs, but I really haven't been very active lately. So.... 5 minutes of Political Bull**** with Lem!
So Governor Blagojevich has been involved in a scandal for the last couple of months. I am not cool enough to know what he's actually done wrong, as all of the pompous media jerks do not tell you what the story is actually ABOUT, just what is happening NOW. I guess they call it news for a reason? I'll leave my good friend and local ***hat to give you the details on what actually has been happening. I feel like ranting without citing any sources, or even knowing anything about the subject.
Now, this is about the biggest new story in Illinois since like, the great depression, or Obama being elected and as such, almost everyone I know is talking about it like it's really deep or something. I have this to say to you people: THERE ARE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO DISCUSS A GOVERNOR BEING CORRUPT, ESPECIALLY IN ILLINOIS. CAN YOU TELL I'VE READ TOO MUCH CRAP FROM THE EIGHTEEN HUNDREDS. MY SENTENCES ARE WAY TOO LONG.
But enough of caps lock. Can we move on to... Oh say, a more important topic? This is all my political group has been talking about for a couple weeks now, and it's STILL BORING. Now that we've elected new president, shouldn't we be talking about HIM? No? Okay.
